This essay looks at how the EdTech industry is recalibrating the way the world approaches online education and learning. When the pandemic initially hit, educators forced to quickly shift operations online could have been forgiven for thinking it might be a temporary transition. The global educational landscape remains at full speed in a technological transformation, with no apparent reverse gear. By considering post-pandemic trends and needs, personalized experiences can be offered to students through technological advances with an omnichannel approach. EdTech's meteoric rise is far from over. The sector is constantly flourishing with billions of dollars in investment and new developments happening every month. There is a need for greater availability and a wider range of channels, personalization, and adaptation of content according to the program that the student is taking, but also according to their needs to deliver a better learning experience. In this essay, technological changes and the personalization of learning are especially highlighted to build a meaningful experience for the student in their online learning process.
